Meet Our Team
At Candle Envy, our mission is to create the safest, sexiest, and most eco-friendly candles on the planet!
It all started in my kitchen at home and grew from there. Kim started as We’re Lit, Inc. selling to various shopping malls across the country, Sam’s Club, Hallmark stores, and True Values all over the world.
As the business evolved, so did the name. My dad, Ted, started Clear Candle, doing craft & fine art shows around the country. Over the last few years, he has battled lung cancer, but we’re proud to say he beat it! YEAH!
Unfortunately, Clear Candle didn’t survive the Covid pandemic. So, I decided to get back into the family business and open a small gallery in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, where I began to develop our online presence.
Danielle, who had been with us from the beginning (We’re Lit, Inc.), came back to keep me on track. She is my right hand for everything and together we are the “Dynamic Duo.”
